This position is in charge of leading and managing one of the business through sub-category portfolio teams to deliver company’s business objectives and goal. The role also co-works and supports Marketing Director to develop total category strategy and plan, build Marketing team and cross-function engagement, develop strong marketing talent pipeline.
The position develops and delivers the category strategy that can win in Japan market by leveraging deep understanding of the Customer Insight and Local business environment with alignment of the Local, Regional and Global stakeholders. The position delivers the strategy and plan through the sub-category portfolio teams and is responsible for directing and developing direct reports including Portfolio Managers.
The position is one of the feeder roles of Japan Marketing Director and potential candidate of Local and Regional Snr. Marketing roles. .
Needs minimum 10 years’ experience in FMCG Marketing or equivalent experience with strong achievement records. Strong experience in leading and collaborating with cross-functional members, developing direct reports and team. Needs strong communication skill in both Japanese and English
